Quick answer
How much does a locksmith cost in Kapolei?
A standard car or house lockout starts at $150. Rekeys start at $85 per lock, and car keys start at $135. The exact car key price depends on the make, model and year, so we confirm it on the phone. Either way, you hear the number before any work starts.
How a call goes
Three steps from stuck to back inside
No tow truck, no waiting for a shop to open. You call, we talk price, the van comes to you.
01
Call and say where you are
A parking lot at Ka Makana Ali'i, your driveway in Makakilo, a resort lot in Ko Olina. If it's a car, tell us the make, model and year.
02
Hear the price first
We tell you what the job costs before we start. If it changes once we see the lock, you hear that first too, and you decide.
03
The van comes to you
It carries key blanks, programming gear and lock hardware, so most jobs finish right where you're standing.
You don't need the dealer, and for most makes you don't need a tow. We cut a new key and program it to your car where it's parked, in the lot or on your street.
It happens on a beach day, after a movie at Kapolei Commons, or halfway across the lot at Ka Makana Ali'i. Call, tell us where you parked, and stay close to the car.
Make, model and year. It tells us which blank and which programmer to bring.
Where the car is. A store name, a cross street, or a pin dropped from your phone.
Push-to-start or a turn key? Smart keys and fobs take different gear.
Does any key still work? A spare, even a worn one, can make the job quicker.
Key turns but the car won't start? That can be the ignition, not the key. We repair and replace ignitions too.
We're a locally owned mobile locksmith working the west side of Oahu. Here's what you can count on when you call.
Upfront pricing
We tell you the price before the work starts. No surprise line at the end.
We come to you
The van is the shop. Key blanks, programming gear and hardware ride with us.
Locally owned
A local business. Ask us anything about the job before we start.
Insured
Ask about our insurance when you call. We're happy to talk about it.
Why call a mobile locksmith instead of the dealer?
Because the dealer usually needs your car on its lot, and we bring the work to the car. Lose your only key and a dealership visit often means a tow first, then a wait while a key gets ordered and programmed. Our van carries key blanks, a key cutter and programming gear. For most makes we cut the new key and pair it to the car right where it's parked, whether that's a driveway in Makakilo or a lot off Farrington Highway. You hear the price on the phone before we drive out. One call, one visit, and you drive away.
What we won't do: promise you a minute count we can't keep. Traffic on the H-1 and Farrington Highway is real. When you call, we give you an honest window and stick to it as best we can.
Hours
When can you call?
Every day from 7 AM to 10 PM, Monday through Sunday. Weekends are normal working days for us.
After 10 PM we're closed. We'd rather tell you that now than leave you waiting on a van that isn't coming.
All of the 96707 ZIP, plus the towns on either side of it. That means Makakilo up the hill, the Ko Olina resort lots, Kalaeloa, and shopping centers like Ka Makana Ali'i off Kapolei Parkway and Kualakai Parkway. East of town we run into Ewa Beach (96706), including Ewa Gentry, Ewa Villages and Hoopili. To the west we follow Farrington Highway out to Nanakuli and Waianae (96792). When you call, give us a cross street, a store name or a dropped pin, and we'll tell you right away whether we can get there and roughly when the van can be there.

FAQ
Questions people ask before they call
Short answers. If yours isn't here, the phone is quicker than an email.
Yes, for most makes. You don't need the old key. We cut a new one and program it to the car where it's parked. Tell us the make, model and year when you call so the right blank comes on the van.
For most makes, no. The cutting and programming happen in the parking spot where the car sits, so there's no tow and no wait at a dealership.
Yes. Transponder keys, remote fobs and push-to-start smart keys get programmed at the car with the gear we carry in the van.
Rekeying is usually cheaper, because the hardware stays on the door and only the pins inside change. Rekeys start at $85 per lock. Replacing makes sense when a lock is worn or broken, or when you want a new deadbolt or a smart lock.
We're open 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. After 10 PM we're closed, and we'd rather say so up front than leave you waiting.
Usually, yes. Opening a locked safe often means drilling it, and the safe may not be usable afterward. We explain that before we start. If the safe survives, we can repair it and set a new combination.
