Safe opening
When the combination or key is gone, opening a locked safe usually means drilling it. We explain that before we start.

Forgot the combination, the keypad went dark, or the handle won't turn. We come to the safe, tell you what it'll take, and only then start.

Get it open, get it working, or get it in place. Home and business safes across Kapolei.
When the combination or key is gone, opening a locked safe usually means drilling it. We explain that before we start.
If the safe is worth keeping, we repair the drill point and fit a working lock. If it isn't, we tell you straight.
New owner, a code too many people know, or a dial combination you've never changed. We set a new one.
A keypad that's dead, beeping wrong or locking you out. We find out whether it's power, the keypad or the lock behind it.
Handles that spin, bolts that drag, dials that feel loose. Fixed before they turn into a lockout.
A new safe placed and bolted down in your Kapolei home or office, so it can't simply be carried out the door.
Three steps. Nothing gets drilled until you say so.
Brand, model, size, and whether it's a dial, a keypad or a key. A photo of the door helps.
We check it in person and tell you what opening it will take, what it costs, and what the safe looks like afterward.
Go ahead, or don't. If we open it, we can repair it and set a new combination on the same visit.
Once a safe has been drilled, there are two honest options. Which one fits depends on the safe.
| Question | Repair it | Replace it |
|---|---|---|
| Makes sense for | Solid, heavier safes | Light, low-cost safes |
| What we do | Plug the drill point, fit a working lock | Help you choose and install a new one |
| Fire rating | Can be reduced by the drilling | Full rating of the new safe |
| Bolting down | Stays where it is | Installed and anchored |
| Your contents | Go back in the same day | Move once the new safe is in |
On a keypad safe, start with the battery. A weak battery is a common reason the keypad dims, beeps oddly or ignores a correct code, and many models have a battery compartment or emergency contacts outside the locked door. Many also take a backup override key, so check the paperwork or the drawer it came in. On a dial safe, slow down and dial the full sequence again, turning the right number of times each way. Still shut? Call us with the brand and model. We'll come out anywhere in Kapolei, from Makakilo to Ko Olina, look at it, and explain what opening it means before any drill comes out.

Plain answers, including the part about drilling.
Sometimes. A solid safe can usually be repaired and fitted with a working lock. A light, low-cost safe often isn't worth repairing after it's drilled. We tell you which yours is before we start.
It depends on the safe's brand, size and lock. Describe it on the phone, ideally with a photo, and we give you a price before anything is drilled.
Yes, as long as the safe opens. Dial and keypad locks can both be reset to a new combination.
Often, yes. Try fresh batteries first, through the outside compartment or emergency contacts if your model has them. If it still won't open, the keypad or the lock behind it has failed.
Yes. We anchor safes in Kapolei homes and offices through the bolt holes most safes have in the floor of the safe, so it can't be carried off.
